Bruno M. C. Silva holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Beira Interior (UBI) since February 2015 and has been an Associate Professor at UBI, which he joined in September 2021. He is an integrated researcher at IT-UBI, a member of the Network Services and Applications-CV group, and part of the Secure and Intelligent Networked Software Systems (sins-lab), where he coordinates the SNSS cluster. His research focuses on Computer Networks, Communication Protocols, IoT, cooperation and reputation mechanisms, Smart Cities, and Mobile Computing for healthcare.
